Natural Factors L-Taurine is a free-form amino acid delivered in a convenient powdered form. Supplementing with L-taurine helps support cardiovascular function. 

L-taurine is the most abundant amino acid in the heart and is also found at significant concentrations in the brain, nervous system, and muscles. This sulfur-containing nutrient plays a vital role in many physiological processes that affect the body’s ability to metabolize fats, stabilize cell membranes, and regulate the flow of ions in and out of cells. These activities contribute to fluid balance throughout the body’s tissues and to support the function of the heart and blood vessels. 

Although the body can synthesize some L-taurine, dietary intake is crucial for maintaining healthy levels. L-taurine is found in various high-protein foods such as meat, fish, and dairy products, but it is most effective when taken as a free-form amino acid.
